A small website with animations, an interactive cursor, and a contact form, built from supplied designs.
I was the project's only developer. I was responsible for architecture, implementing the designs, interactive behaviour, and handling form submissions on the server.
Build a small corporate website with responsive pages, animations, an interactive cursor, and a contact form.
The project did not include a CMS. Content still needed to be kept separate from components so the pages would remain easy to maintain and develop.
I organised development through Storybook, starting with buttons and inputs and working up to complete sections.
This let me check component states and different inputs in isolation before combining them into pages. Pages were assembled from prepared elements with consistent behaviour.
The website was completed, demonstrated, and handed over to the client with publishing instructions. I do not know whether it was subsequently launched publicly.
My contribution covered the full technical implementation: component and data architecture, responsive interfaces, animations, accessible dialogs, and server handling for the contact form.

I moved page content into a separate data layer. During development, I used sample content, then prepared the final text and values.
Components received data through props, while pages used a shared data access layer. This left room to connect a CMS later by replacing the data source while retaining the interface structure.
Using Framer Motion, I implemented smooth scrolling and the animation behaviour tied to it.
For the interactive cursor specified in the design, I created a shared control mechanism. Cards could change its content and state on hover through a common interface.
I built a shared dialog component with animations, a backdrop, Escape handling, and scroll locking.
Focus management supported keyboard use: focus moved inside when a dialog opened and returned to the previous element when it closed.
I applied my experience building shared functionality for Shopify themes, adapting it to React's component model.
I implemented email delivery over SMTP with Nodemailer. Form data went to a Remix server handler, which composed the message and sent it through the configured email service.
